Tax Rate

The Tax Rate for Egg Harbor Township comprises taxes for Atlantic County including library, health services, and open space, school district, municipal open space, length of service for volunteer fire and rescue personnel (LOSAP), and local municipal purposes. The total tax rate is applied to each $100 of assessed value of your property.

Use the following formula to compute an approximate tax levy for your property.
Assessed Value $ x 4.101/100 = tax payment $ this year.
Assessed $100,000 x 4.101/100 = $4,101.00 tax levy
Assessed $150,000 x 4.101/100 = $6,151.50 tax levy
Assessed $200,000 x 4.101/100 = $8,202.00 tax levy
Assessed $250,000 x 4.101/100 = $10,252.50 tax levy
