Veterans Advisory Board

The Egg Harbor Township Veterans Advisory Board was created by the Mayor and Township Committee to help ensure that local government remains responsive to our Veterans needs and to ensure that traditions which honor our Veterans are perpetuated.

Upcoming Events

Memorial Day Parade
-Monday, May 27, 2013 - 9:00 a.m. (participants should be on Mt. Airy by 8:30)
Starts on Mt. Airy and Zion Roads, ends at Veterans Memorial Park

Anyone wishing to participate in this years parade MUST have a patriotic theme.

The Veterans Advisory Board is open to many different units, including color guards, floats, marching units, emergency vehicles, and any other unit that wishes to honor our veterans with their participation. Horses and dog units must clean up after the animals as the parade progresses.

Please submit registration form no later than May 22, 2013. For safety reasons, all units MUST BE pre-registered. Unregistered units will NOT be permitted to participate.

All Veterans Welcome. Egg Harbor Township's Memorial Day Parade is a patriotic recognition of those who have served and are serving our nation, hosted by Egg Harbor Township Veterans Advisory Board.

If you are a veteran and wish to help our town honor all veterans, please consider joining our Memorial Day Parade Committee or participating in the parade.

Meetings

Meetings are held in the Cardiff Memorial VFW Post 8098 located at 3029 Spruce Avenue, EHT at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public. Dates are posted on the Meeting Dates page, Agendas are posted on the Agendas page and Meeting Minutes are on the Minutes page.
