Plans are being formulated for Egg Harbor Township Memorial Day 2012. As in the past, the program will feature organizations representing all of Atlantic County with a parade and festivities on Monday, May 28th.

The parade will commence at 9:00 a.m. (staging at 8:30 a.m.) at Diamond Drive and Zion Road. The parade will travel west on Zion Road to Ocean Heights Avenue, down Ocean Heights Avenue to Veterans Memorial Park. There a Memorial Ceremony will be held.

As of May 15th, we have approximately 350 participants registered. The more the better!!!

Veterans Day

6th grade students from Alder Avenue Middle School, Fernwood Avenue Middle School and Atlantic Christian School participated in our annual essay contest entitled, "What Veterans Day Means to Me and My Family." The winning essays were written by Beth Anne Castellano of Ferwnood Avenue Middle School, Stephanie Kim of Alder Avenue Middle School and Mariyah Black of Atlantic Christian School. Congratulations!!!
