The Municipal Administrator is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Township and is responsible to the Township Committee as a whole for the proper and efficient administration of the business affairs of the Township. The Municipal Administrator supervises and directs the business activities of all departments. The Municipal Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the municipal government and implements policies established by the Township Committee. The Municipal Administrator is often referred to as the Township Administrator or Business Administrator.
The Department of Administration and Finance is headed by the Municipal Administrator. The Administrator is responsible for providing all services to the residents of Egg Harbor Township. The Divisions of Tax Assessment, Tax Collection, Finance, and the Office of the Township Clerk are directly under the Department of Administration and Finance. All Department Directors report to the Administrator. Donna L. Markulic was appointed as Municipal Administrator in April 2021. She is the 3rd individual to hold that position in the Township of Egg Harbor. Donna has thirty two (32) years of experience working in local government in New Jersey.
She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Donna is a member of the New Jersey Municipal Management Association (NJMMA).
